I heard you start talking critically about the campaign and decided to take a look myself before I made up my mind – and I’d definitely agree with the voice in the video, as well as the fact that there’s “no need for a 60$ wristband when you can set reminders for free.”
I’ve no doubt that since LDing is rising in popularity there’ll be some corporation to capitalize on it in a less-than-preferable way.
I’ve listened for a while but haven’t commented – there’s not many resources like this for lucid dreaming or psychology of this type, so I’ve found this a very enjoyable and informative podcast. Thanks for another great episode!
Yeah, I’ve since followed their updates and especially their comment replies and it has only raised more concerns. Someone else questioned them about their use of the term artificial intelligence and their reply was a link to a very technical paper on what is artificial intelligence. I do really want more people working on devices but not something that preys on the desire of lucid dreamers to have an easier time achieving lucidity.
Happy to hear you are enjoying the podcast. Thanks for listening and sharing your thoughts!
